  For most of my life, I have been the type of the girl that would shy away from any shoe with any sort of height added to them. Flats were always my calling.. Being that I am around 5"7 and the tallest in my family, I was always very self conscious about my height.

Lucy Hale Seventeen Magazine Inspired Tutorial

I knew that when I picked up the June/July issue of Seventeen Magazine, that I was going to do some kind of tutorial inspired by Lucy Hale. She is one of my favorite characters on the show Pretty Little Liars. She always looks super fab, especially on the cover of Seventeen!

NOTD: OPI Teenage Dream

  "You make me feel like I'm living a teenage dream.." I am so in love with this nail polish color! For those of you who are kind of out of the loop, Katy Perry came out with a nail polish collection a couple months ago that included Black Shatter (which I have) as well as a couple other nail polishes named after songs off of her new CD. Teenage Dream, which is pictured above, is one of the three polishs I picked up from the collection.

Mini Summer Haul

   With Summer just around the corner, I got the chance to get out of the house and do a little shopping spree for the nicer weather! AND the first Ulta in my state opened up and I was dieing to go! For those of you who don't know what Ulta is, it is a beauty supply store aka a beauty junkies heaven! My first stop was Forever 21 and I picked up 3 things: a cute pair of coral shorts, a black strapless maxi dress, and a feather head accessory.   My next stop was Ulta! I think I was way more excited than a person should be to go buy makeup! Whatever! I wanted so much more but my wallet just did not agree with the quantity of things I was dieing to get. I did end up getting the following:

NOTD: OPI Mermaids Tears

 

   One of the nail polishes that I picked up from the new OPI Pirates of the Carribean Collection is Mermaids Tears. When I saw OPI debut this collection on Youtube (Click Here for the video of the swatches) I knew this was one color I had to have! It is a gorgeous sea-foam green that I think is an essential color for everyone for summer! This color is also super opaque which makes the application very easy!

  This month has flown by! I can't believe it's already June. My twins will be 2 years old in a month! CRAZY!  Anyways, on to the beauty favorites.
